The per diem Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides primary care, same day/acute care to Princeton undergraduate and graduate students and their eligible dependents. This work includes obtaining history, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting appropriate lab, x-ray, and electrocardiogram studies. The per diem NP performs minor office practice procedures such as suturing, incision & drainage. This position is responsible for charting in an electronic medical record. The per diem Nurse Practitioner works collaboratively with physicians, physician assistants, nurses, medical assistants, and other clinicians to provide high quality clinical, prevention, and consultative services. The Nurse Practitioner may also perform administrative and professional duties to support the delivery of healthcare consistent with UHS policies, procedures, and professional standards. Outpatient Clinic hours are M-F 8:45am - 5:00pm, Saturdays 9:00am - 4:00pm.
