About The Position

To deliver quality direct patient care under appropriate clinical supervision to patients with psychiatric disorders, or those duly diagnosed with psychiatric and chemical dependency disorders; to serve actively and constructively as a member of the organization's multi-disciplinary treatment team, and support the organization's philosophy of care.

Requirements

• ADN
• Basic knowledge of psychiatric disorders and detoxification assessment along with treatment procedures for chemically dependent patients.
• Ability to interact effectively with the clinical team and other staff as well as the following competencies: organization, attention to detail, problem-solving and time management.
• Empathy for patients and their families, be flexible, and exercise consistent telephone etiquette and quality customer service at all times.
• Proven capability of handling sensitive and highly confidential information is a required.
• Must demonstrate the ability to learn concepts and develop additional and needed skills within reasonable time frame via organization's orientation and training program.
• Good written and oral communication skills; legible handwriting are necessary.
• Current CA - LVN License
• CPR & CPI (or to be obtained within 30 days upon hire)
