Hudson Regional Health is hiring per diem Intensvisits. Successful applicants will be outstanding, highly collaborative clinicians, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine with a passion for acute care and a shared commitment to delivering the highest quality care. It will be a mix of shifts in the ICUs and on the Rapid Response Team. Treats patients in critical/coronary care unit to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists as necessary. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrates knowledge and competencies in the following areas: Respiratory dysfunction Cardiovascular dysfunction Neurological dysfunction Neuromuscular dysfunction Renal dysfunctional Gastrointestinal dysfunction Hepatic Dysfunction Hematological disorders Oncology disorders Evaluate nutritional support for critical ill patients also with endocrine disorders Patient with trauma or septic illness Interpretation of diagnostic test results Collecting information related to patient and integration in clinical plans Communication with patient’s relatives, referring hospital etc. Acute & chronic pain management Pre & post-operative check up
