Requirements

• BLS, ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• 1+ years of experience in an exercise testing laboratory, cardiac rehabilitation facility or corporate health setting
• Equipment Marquette EKG machines or similar, Marquette treadmill control systems or similar, ACS Holter monitors or similar
• Basic computer and CRT experience
• Basic typing experience
• Ability to work extended shifts in situations deemed necessary by the Cardiology Nursing Supervisor

Nice To Haves

• Certification as cardiovascular technician or related
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Scheduling appointments in a prompt and courteous manner utilizing a PC
• Confirming appointments and handling cancellations in a timely, efficient and courteous manner
• Problem solving for patients utilizing identified resources
• Providing comprehensive service to facilitate a resolution for any caller request
• Acquiring and maintaining computer skills to effectively utilize applicable software
