MSK is seeking a Per Diem CT Technologist to join their outstanding radiology team. This site delivers world-class cancer care in a setting thoughtfully designed to support patients and their families. If you’re passionate about high-quality imaging and patient-centered care, you are invited to join their exceptional radiology team. The role involves performing a variety of CT and general X-ray imaging procedures on patients of all age groups with minimal supervision. The technologist will operate CT scanners and associated equipment safely, in accordance with established policies and procedures. They will explain imaging procedures to patients and monitor patient safety and comfort throughout exams. The role also includes administering contrast media (IV and/or oral) following established protocols, conducting imaging in compliance with departmental protocols and quality standards, accurately entering documentation into all MSK and Radiology systems, and supporting general radiology procedures as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree / Certified Vocational Training or Graduate from a 2-year AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT).
  • New York Department of Health License in Diagnostic Radiography.
  • IV Certification required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2 years of CT experience preferred, including experience with GE imaging systems.
