About The Position

The Admission/Discharge Coordinator is established to facilitate the bed placement of AEHN patients. This position will be responsible to act as a liaison between patients, hospital staff, the community, hospital administration and physician office staff. This position requires the ability to enter proper financial, demographic, billing and clerical information into the hospital ADT system.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of hospital experience in a clinical setting is required.
• Computer literacy required.
• Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology required.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Cerner and Teletracking is preferred.
• Knowledge of managed care policies and procedures preferred.
