About The Position

This role is for a Family Medicine Physician to act as a Collaborating Physician for the state of Georgia. The physician will be required to review 10% of the provider's charts with a minimum of 10 charts per month completed by the clinician they are supervising using Epic Care Link. The physician should be available in person, or by telephone for questions. It is also important to alert our team if there are any quality concerns affecting patient care.

Requirements

• MD/DO with ABMS Board Certification in Family Medicine.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Georgia.
• At least 5 or more years of clinical practice experience in a Family Medicine setting.
• Experience with electronic medical records is required, Epic preferred.
• Proficiency with various computer-based applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Excellent clinical assessment and analytical skills.
• Effective leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review 10% of the provider's charts with a minimum of 10 charts per month.
• Be available by phone and/or email to answer clinical concerns of the in-field providers.
• Conduct quarterly meetings with the APP on 5 charts.
• Participate in quality processes such as medical documentation audits and quality projects.
• Serve as a mentor or coach to mid-level providers in ongoing quality and performance improvement processes.
• Complete compliance trainings which are primarily web based.

Benefits

• Hourly rate of 96 - 160 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
