About the position
Clinical Care Partners deliver patient care under the direct supervision of registered nurses. Performs basic patient care skills, follows infection control practices, positions, transfers and transports patients, takes vital signs, collects specimens, accurately observes, reports and charts, performs range of motion and assists with feedings, self-care activities and elimination needs. Floating to other psychiatric units may be required dependent upon staffing needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care under the direct supervision of registered nurses.
- Perform basic patient care skills.
- Follow infection control practices.
- Position, transfer, and transport patients.
- Take vital signs.
- Collect specimens.
- Accurately observe, report, and chart patient information.
- Perform range of motion exercises.
- Assist with feedings, self-care activities, and elimination needs.
- Float to other psychiatric units as required.
Requirements
- Current valid CA CNA License.
- BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
