About The Position

The Per Diem Ambulatory Service Representative II at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients in the Patient Access Center. Requirements

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. required; Associate or bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of direct face-to-face customer service experience required.
  • 1+ years of cash handling or collections experience required.
  • 6 months experience in a customer-facing role within a medical office, healthcare setting, or other service-related industry required.
  • 1+ years KSC ASR I or HIM Tech experience with 6 months ASR II cross-training experience and successful completion of Epic Front Desk Training, or 2 years KSC CBO, Managed Care, or Contact Center experience required.
  • 2+ years of working in a physician, hospital, or medical office environment preferred.
  • 2+ years of insurance and/or managed care experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of cash handling or collections experience in a medical office setting preferred.
  • 2+ years of direct face-to-face customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience with computers and Windows-based software required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Basic Math ability required.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices required.
  • Excellent professional and personal presentation style required.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to use Microsoft software applications including Word and Excel.
  • 10-key touch preferred.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical record systems preferred.
  • Bilingual- English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities
