Per Diem Advanced Practice Provider - Orthopedic Surgical Consult
About The Position
Join our dynamic team of over 900 dedicated Advanced Practice Providers at MSK, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering compassionate, cutting-edge cancer care to patients and their families. In this role, the Per Diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will work as an Orthopedic Surgical Consult APP to support the Orthopedic Oncology Surgical Service. This position will be primary coverage of the consult pager during overnight and weekend shifts. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team and be the driving force behind patient-centered care. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited PA program
- NCCPA certification
- Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience is preferred
- BLS certification/ACLS certification
- Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses with ability to treat pediatric patients
- Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
- Related National NP certification
- Minimum of 2 years of related clinical experience is preferred
- BLS certification/ACLS certification
