About The Position

The Class A Relief Delivery Driver at Admiral Beverage Corporation is responsible for delivering beverage products to customers along established routes. This role requires driving a truck under various conditions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining effective communication with supervisors and customers. The driver will also manage inventory, perform vehicle maintenance, and handle customer transactions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience or training.
• Commercial Driver's License, Class A, and a DOT medical card.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
• Basic math skills for performing business calculations.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in customer service or delivery roles.
• Familiarity with beverage products and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck to deliver beverage products to customers' locations.
• Work independently to complete deliveries on established routes.
• Communicate issues and customer concerns to the supervisor.
• Record sales, buy back, delivery, and variance information on daily records.
• Operate computerized inventory and invoicing systems for accurate record-keeping.
• Use hand trucks and electric pallet jacks for loading and unloading.
• Collect empty containers or unsold merchandise from customers.
• Conduct daily inspections and routine maintenance on the truck.
• Assemble display aids from company-provided materials.
• Wear company uniform and safety devices as required.
