About The Position
Admiral Beverage is seeking a Presales Representative to sell beverage products to retail and wholesale food stores and grocers. This role involves soliciting new business from prospective customers and providing excellent customer service to store owners and customers. The Presales Representative will effectively resolve complaints or grievances and must demonstrate a high level of accuracy, the ability to work without direct supervision, and leadership skills. The position requires the ability to lift up to 70 pounds and a valid driver's license. The work environment is usually moderate in noise level, with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions. The representative will travel through an assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers, prepare sales contracts, and interface with customers both on location and by phone. Responsibilities include conducting business reviews, demonstrating products and services, quoting prices and credit terms, arranging products according to plans, and ensuring compliance with 'Sell By' dates. The role also involves preparing reports of business transactions and maintaining expense accounts.
