CNBC Cures delivers in-depth, multi-platform coverage of the Rare Disease community, spotlighting innovation in drug development, regulatory progress, investor activity, and the lived experiences of patients and families. We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative Producer to support the day-to-day execution of editorial and programming initiatives across digital, video, audio, and social platforms.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally with business leaders, investors, and members of the Rare Disease patient community.
  • Previous experience or demonstrated interest in social media writing, producing, editing, and cross-platform strategy, particularly in podcast and vodcast formats.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to perform well in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • 3-5 years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Support the production of multi-platform coverage for CNBC Cures programming, ensuring seamless coordination across digital, video, and audio formats.
  • Collaborate with editors and producers to source soundbites, produce interview edits, and work closely with project leaders and on-air talent to develop podcast and vodcast programming.
  • Build guest and reporter segments using iNews and CNBC’s in-house production systems.
  • Create graphics using CNBC’s internal applications and coordinate with the graphics department to ensure timely and accurate visual elements.
  • Conduct research to support stories, segments, and broader editorial initiatives as directed.
  • Perform basic script writing and contribute to online articles and the weekly newsletter.
  • Clip live interviews for use as digital video content across platforms.
  • Help drive viewer and reader engagement for CNBC Cures through thoughtful content packaging and distribution.
  • Produce elements tailored for social media and community engagement initiatives as needed.
