About The Position

The People & Talent Workforce Specialist at Tampa General Hospital is responsible for managing and overseeing team member assistance programs within the Florida Health Sciences Center. This role involves creating processes, managing plans, ensuring compliance, and reporting on community impact. The specialist will work closely with various stakeholders to enhance team member resources and programs, aligning with the hospital's mission and strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or other related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years non-profit experience, focused in philanthropic work OR minimum 7 years in public assistance roles.
  • JD, MPA, LCSW and/or LPC preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct operational support resources and community relationships for FHSC.
  • Own and build the corporate partnerships and agreements for the FHSC Assistance program.
  • Establish, direct and oversee a master project calendar for the system, including deliverables, meetings, and timelines for initiatives aligned with strategic goals and fundholder expectations.
  • Oversee the accuracy of data collection for internal and external reports.
  • Collaborate and partner with Marketing and the Foundation for communications and external reporting.
  • Remain current with financial processes, regulations, and trends/best practices for public assistance rules.
  • Perform fund reconciliation analysis and report for the Team member Assistance program.
  • Review, track and update system information on all required platforms, including relevant reporting documents.
  • Responsible for compliance related reporting for the fund and any gifted items to team members.
