About The Position

ServiceTrade is a leading SaaS company transforming the fire protection and mechanical industries. We’re seeking a motivated and skilled People & Talent Strategy Intern to join our growing team. As the People & Talent Strategy Intern, you’ll partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and People leadership to support strategic people initiatives in a scaling SaaS environment. You’ll gain hands-on experience across workforce planning, manager enablement, and talent systems, while learning how to translate business needs into people insights and recommendations. This is an in-office internship so you’ll need to be on site at our Durham, NC Headquarters. Founded in 2012, ServiceTrade is the software platform for commercial mechanical and fire contractors. More than 1,300 contractors use ServiceTrade to increase profit and deliver more work during a persistent skilled labor shortage by improving service and project operations, helping technicians be more productive and do their best work, selling more service and inspection agreements, and growing customer loyalty. Over 10% of the commercial or industrial buildings in the United States are serviced by contractors using ServiceTrade to manage 13 million equipment assets and invoice more than $7.5 billion of service-related commerce. What can interns expect? 9 week paid internship from Monday, June 1 - Friday, July 31 Work onsite at our RTP Headquarters off S. Miami Blvd Company issued laptop for the duration of the internship. It will be turned in at the conclusion. Dedicate 40 hours each week to your internship responsibilities and tasks Receive an hourly pay of $23/hr Participate in company-related activities such as volunteering and ServiceTrade Dayz Participate in intern specific activities such as Lunch-n-Learns and team building Want to know more? Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
  • An interest in business process improvement and a willingness to learn.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong ability to learn quickly, synthesize information, and communicate ideas clearly
  • Comfort working with basic data and trends to support insights and recommendations
  • Comfortable collaborating with team members and interacting professionally with managers and leaders
  • Exposure to or interest in HR systems such as HRIS or Applicant Tracking Systems
