About The Position

We’re looking for a People Strategy Partner to join our People and Culture Team and play a pivotal role in shaping how Phantom scales. This is not your traditional HRBP role. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to align organizational design, performance frameworks, and talent strategies with business priorities. At the same time, you’ll roll up your sleeves and ensure execution is crisp, consistent, and impactful across our globally distributed team. This role is ideal for someone who is energized by building in a high-growth environment, comfortable advising executives, and experienced at supporting technical organizations at scale.

  • 8–10+ years of progressive HR/People leadership, including direct business partnership at the senior level.
  • Proven experience supporting engineering, product, or technical organizations in high-growth, global companies.
  • Strong track record in organizational design, performance management, and leadership enablement.
  • Excellent judgment in employee relations with the ability to navigate sensitive issues discreetly and effectively.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, distributed, global environment.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Phantom’s Business Partnership strategy across all teams, ensuring people initiatives directly support business priorities.
  • Partner with senior leaders to translate business needs into scalable talent strategies (org design, workforce planning, succession, and career pathways).
  • Serve as the bridge between leadership and central People Programs, ensuring alignment and adoption of company-wide frameworks.
  • Proactively design and evolve team structures to support scaling while avoiding bottlenecks and silos.
  • Anticipate capability needs and advise on workforce planning across Phantom, with deep expertise in EPD teams.
  • Embed Phantom’s performance frameworks company-wide; ensure clarity and consistency in calibration, promotions, and development conversations.
  • Strengthen Phantom’s culture of feedback and continuous growth across diverse, global teams.
  • Provide direct coaching and advisory support to senior leaders across functions.
  • Improve manager effectiveness through structured enablement on feedback, performance, and team health.
  • Act as a trusted, confidential partner in handling sensitive employee relations matters.
  • Proactively identify engagement risks and support a consistent, positive employee experience across all geographies.
  • Drive engagement, recognition, and career development pathways to reduce regrettable attrition.
  • Create consistency and clarity in expectations, growth paths, and progression across Phantom.
  • Partner closely with Recruiting to align headcount planning, refine job descriptions, and accelerate onboarding of critical hires.
  • Balance speed of hiring with Phantom’s uncompromising talent standards.
