About The Position

As a People Specialist (HRBP), you’ll partner with leaders across South Australia to deliver strategic HR solutions that drive performance, engagement, and a positive workplace culture. Your Impact: As a trusted advisor and member of the State Senior Leadership Team, you will: Partner with leaders to embed critical people practices that foster accountability and high performance Coach and empower leaders to build capability and create positive team cultures aligned with Goodstart values Use data and insights to guide decision-making and deliver effective people solutions Lead annual people planning, identify talent risks, and support succession planning Collaborate across the People & Culture team to implement initiatives that strengthen engagement and organisational culture Champion wellbeing and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and child-safe requirements

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Law, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience as a senior HR generalist or business partner, with strong business acumen
  • Ability to influence and coach senior leaders, building trusted partnerships
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Current SA Working with Children Check

  • Expertise in change management and/or project management is highly regarded
  • A continuous improvement mindset and passion for creating exceptional employee experiences
