The People Services Specialist (PSS) conducts orientation and onboarding activities for new hire and rehire employees within their assigned customer group. In addition, the PSS manages and updates employee files to ensure they are up to date and compliant. In this role, you will report to the Director of Operations (DOO). Duties/Responsibilities: Performs some or all of the following functional areas as assigned by DOO: HRIS, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, and employment Assists DOO/department in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for all company employees Facilitates new hire onboarding and orientation program Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports as needed/assigned Assists/performs background screening, pulling investigation reports, court records, reference checks and any other credential verifications necessary Coordinates performance review process for all employees assigned Coordinates equipment/device needs including setup and transitions to preceptor for documentation orientation Maintains the employee renewable requirements and proactively notifies employees/contractor/managers prior to expiration of HR documents Prepares or maintains employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions Coordinates with DOO on tasks pertaining to benefits and payroll Maintains strict confidentiality on patient, agency, and employee matters Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with other Attains goals as agreed upon with the DOO Other duties as assigned
