About The Position

As a key leader in one of Eastern Washington’s largest multi-specialty healthcare groups, you will direct all departmental activities and resources. Requirements

• Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is required
• Proven track record in managing the work of others, including planning, scheduling, and administering corrective actions.
• Moderate to advanced computer proficiency (MS Office Suite, data entry, and presentations).
• Strong mathematical skills for budgeting, rates, and ratios.
• Ability to communicate complex information to management and resolve delicate situations through persuasion and motivation.
• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements, including HIPAA
• Ability to navigate complex, varied business problems using independent judgment and functional expertise.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and work in a hospital environment where safety precautions are standard.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement departmental goals and standards consistent with organizational objectives.
• Operational Oversight: Direct departmental operations, including service level determination, information technologies, and complaint management.
• Talent Management: Plan and monitor staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, performance evaluations, and continuing education.
• Financial Stewardship: Prepare and monitor departmental budgets to ensure compliance with allocated funding.
• Compliance & Excellence: Coordinate internal/external audits and ensure the department remains focused on its vital role in the continuum of care.
• Team Development: Manage, train, and develop staff, fostering a culture of accountability and professional excellence.
