About The Position

At Treasure Data, we’re on a mission to radically simplify how companies use data and AI to create connected customer experiences. Our intelligent customer data platform (CDP) drives revenue growth and operational efficiency across the enterprise to deliver powerful business outcomes. We are thrilled that Forrester has recognized Treasure Data as a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Customer Data Platforms For B2C. It's an honor to be acknowledged for our efforts in advancing the CDP industry with cutting-edge AI and real-time capabilities. Furthermore, Treasure Data employees are enthusiastic, data-driven, and customer-obsessed. We are a team of drivers—self-starters who take initiative, anticipate needs, and proactively jump in to solve problems. Our actions reflect our values of honesty, reliability, openness, and humility. Your Role: The People Operations Partner supports the full employee lifecycle and day‑to-day HR operations, with a focus on onboarding/offboarding, data accuracy, compliance, and Workday administration. This role is a front‑line partner for employees and managers, helping them navigate HR processes while ensuring our data and workflows in Workday are accurate, timely, and compliant. You will handle core HR generalist work (e.g., I‑9 and new hire documentation, data entry and audits, onboarding and offboarding coordination) and provide first‑line support for Workday transactions. Over time, you will take on more ownership of day‑to-day Workday operations and help identify opportunities to streamline and improve our EX processes.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Employee Experience, HR generalist, People Operations, or related roles, ideally in a high‑growth or startup environment
  • Hands-on support of the full employee lifecycle (onboarding, changes, leaves, offboarding) and day-to-day operations, using HRIS (e.g., Workday) and related tools
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, action-oriented environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels and work effectively across teams and time zones
  • Service-minded problem solver with intellectual curiosity about people and organizations; BA/BS in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Working out of the New York, New York office according to our “Global Hybrid Working Policy.”

  • Be based in the New York office and serve as the primary point of contact for in-office operations, including managing deliveries, coordinating lunch orders, and supporting day-to-day office management needs.
  • Use AI-powered knowledge tools (e.g., Glean) to quickly locate and share accurate, consistent answers to employee questions about HR policies, processes, and benefits.
  • Draft and refine employee-facing communications (such as onboarding emails, FAQs, and checklists) using AI tools, reviewing outputs for accuracy, clarity, and inclusive language.
  • Perform accurate and timely Workday data entry for new hires, changes, and corrections; run basic audits to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Support day‑to-day Workday business processes by monitoring inboxes, following up on stuck transactions, and resolving common errors.
  • Run standard Workday reports and share outputs with EX, Finance, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Partner with the People Operations / EX Ops team on data clean‑up, mass updates, and configuration testing related to enhancements and new releases.
  • Help triage and resolve employee and manager issues in Workday, escalating more complex configuration or integration issues to the EX Ops / HRIS team.
  • Use AI-enabled tools to summarize Workday reports, surface data issues or trends, and suggest follow-up actions that improve data quality and process efficiency.
  • Manage I‑9 and work authorization processes for US hires and maintain records in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  • Ensure completion and tracking of required acknowledgments and policy documents through Workday or other tools.
