About The Position

Rho is the banking platform with everything businesses need to manage cash, control spend, and automate finance busywork. We are hiring a People Partner to help us build upon and enhance our efforts to drive a best-in-class HR partnership and operations function. This role will report into our Head of Talent and be a key contributor to implementing our global People strategy in the US. You will interface regularly with Rho's leadership team and work hand-in-hand with our People Partners in Belgrade, Serbia. This role is based out of our SoHo office 5 days a week.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in People Operations, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Direct experience building and running HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration, and leave management
  • Strong writing and communication skills across all channels-including written, phone/audio-only, Zoom, and in-person
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) and ability to elegantly navigate difficult situations
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Familiarity with labor/employment law and HR regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with BambooHR or similar HRIS systems
  • Experience working in a high-growth or startup environment
  • A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn and grow within the role
  • Bachelor's degree or greater required

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation, enhancement, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures
  • Support the development of people strategy in partnership with our Global People team
  • Support the development of total rewards programs, including compensation and benefits
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across all HR functions
  • Contribute to initiatives around employee engagement, performance reviews, and learning & development
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain alignment across People Ops, Finance, Legal, and more
  • Oversee payroll operations and ensure accurate and timely processing
  • Provide strategic guidance to team leaders on people-related matters
