About The Position

The People Operations Coordinator at RCX Sports plays a crucial role in enhancing the recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a positive candidate experience and smooth transition for new hires. This position is integral to supporting the early employee lifecycle activities, promoting teammate engagement, and increasing retention within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in recruitment and onboarding, preferably in a People Operations or HR environment.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and employee onboarding best practices.
  • Prior experience leveraging applicant tracking systems and software to efficiently manage the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Proficient analytical skills with the ability to interpret employee data and recommend decisions or adjustments to processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to network and build strong professional relationships with potential candidates.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the People Operations team to organize recruitment materials and post job openings on various platforms.
  • Source prospective candidates and navigate hiring managers and candidates through the recruitment process.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews to assess qualifications and fit.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and follow-up communications with candidates.
  • Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Organize and administer onboarding programs that familiarize new employees with the company culture, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with conducting orientation sessions and act as the first point of contact for new employees, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Support the people operations team with achieving employee experience and engagement strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor and track new hire progress through the pre-employment onboarding process and during their initial employment period.
  • Collect feedback from new employees to improve onboarding and early engagement processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment metrics and onboarding progress.
  • Prepare reports on recruiting and onboarding activities for management review.
  • Travel to and represent RCX Sports at career fairs, networking events, and other in-person recruitment opportunities.
  • Assist with seasonal and temporary hiring and staffing efforts including evaluating and optimizing recruitment and staffing practices.
  • Provide administrative support for onboarding independent contractors including drafting agreements and organizing supporting documentation.
