About The Position

The People Operations Coordinator supports the mission of the church by caring for and strengthening our staff through effective people systems, compassionate support, and operational excellence. This role helps ensure staff members are equipped, supported, and aligned with the vision, values, and culture of Lakepointe Church. This position blends HR administration and support, onboarding new staff and benefits management to help our staff thrive personally and professionally.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field preferred
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Create onboarding processes to ensure new hires are welcomed, equipped, and aligned on day 1.
  • Support staff throughout the employee lifecycle: onboarding, engagement, and offboarding.
  • Support administration of employee benefit programs including health insurance, retirement plans, flexible spending accounts, and voluntary benefits.
  • Support annual benefits enrollment and communication.
  • Assist with compensation benchmarking.
  • Manage background check process.
  • Cohost People Operations Events.
  • Develop People Operations process summary sheets.
  • Provide administrative support to the People Operations team.
