People Operations Coordinator - San Francisco

About The Position

This role is on-site in San Francisco in the Dogpatch neighborhood Giga builds AI agents trusted by the largest B2C companies in the world. Industry leaders like DoorDash trust Giga with their most complex support and operations workflows across voice, chat, and email. The Role You'll help run the day-to-day of people operations: onboarding new hires, managing offboarding, administering benefits, maintaining compliance, and keeping our systems (Rippling) organized and accurate. This is a hands-on execution role in-person in the San Francisco office with room to shape processes from scratch alongside the Chief of Staff.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in people operations, HR, or similar
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (Rippling experience is a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment
  • Good judgment on sensitive matters

Responsibilities

  • Run onboarding end-to-end: equipment, accounts, orientation, first-week experience
  • Manage offboarding logistics and documentation
  • Serve as the go-to person for benefits questions and enrollment
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with employment regulations
  • Keep Rippling clean and up-to-date
  • Handle HR operations tasks as they come up—you'll wear many hats
