About The Position

The People Operations Coordinator focuses on managing employee data, supporting new hire onboarding and new hire orientation, handling various HR inquiries, and assisting with reporting.

Requirements

  • 1 - 2 years of professional experience within a corporate setting.
  • Experience with Google suite.
  • Basic understanding of HR/People data management.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Eagerness to learn HRIS systems (AS400, Dayforce, ICIMS) and reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to inquiries from employees and managers across multiple HR and payroll inboxes.
  • Accurately enter and maintain employee information in HRIS systems, including AS400 and Dayforce, for transfers, promotions, salary changes, and terminations.
  • Facilitate the new hire process from ICIMS to the AS400, ensuring timely and accurate onboarding data.
  • Review and verify employee change documents to ensure completeness and proper authorization.
  • Sort incoming mail and process payroll-related documents, including garnishments and requests, for upload to ADP.
  • Actively participate in cross-training initiatives across various People Operations functions to develop a broad understanding of the department.
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly HR and payroll reports.
  • Take ownership of and contribute to special projects as assigned, gaining exposure to various People Operations initiatives.
  • Assist in the organization and set-up of NMO, our onboarding program, including coordinating the IT setup.
