It’s with that in mind that Hireology is looking to add a Senior HR Generalist to the People Team. Reporting to the People Business Partner, the People Generalist will be responsible for administrative aspects of People operations, including managing employee changes, on/offboarding processes, and compensation/benefits administration The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with a passion for operationalizing all things People.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • At least one year of human resource experience required.
  • Proficient with general office suite software - email systems, document creation, slides, excel/sheets, etc.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Demonstrated understanding of how to operate with the highest level of discretion
  • Excellent interpersonal and public-facing communication skills, with the ability to style-flex as needed to communicate with all levels inside and outside the company
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task in a very fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Managing, refining, and administering processes for employee events such as onboarding, off-boarding, leaves and employment changes
  • Owning the HRIS administration and ensuring system records are accurate and reliable
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs
  • Running and refining the performance review processes for the company
  • Supports associates through the process for STD, LTD, FMLA, and military leaves.
  • Assisting with benefits planning, and administering benefits/benefits compliance, including managing relationships with providers and our benefits broker
  • Assisting the Finance team with payroll administration through updating employee records, approving benefits elections and providing other payroll change information
  • Supporting other areas of the business with HR and people-related reporting requests as needed
