About The Position

The People and Culture Manager is a key leadership role responsible for driving and implementing People & Culture strategies that foster a positive workplace culture, employee engagement, and organizational development. This individual will work closely with leadership and Team Members to ensure alignment with CAVA's Mission, Values, and Competencies values that promote an inclusive, high-performance team. They will serve as a champion for Team Member well-being, diversity, and growth opportunities across the organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
  • At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on employee relations, culture management, and organizational development.
  • Experience managing and implementing diversity and inclusion initiatives is highly desirable.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive initiatives to build a strong, positive organizational culture aligned with CAVA's mission, values, and competencies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to foster employee engagement, morale, and retention.
  • Organize employee feedback surveys and act on results to improve satisfaction and culture.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization, implementing programs that ensure inclusivity.
  • Advocate for a workplace culture where all Team Members feel respected, supported, and have an equal opportunity to succeed.
  • Work with leadership to create and implement programs and initiatives that promote inclusivity across all levels of the organization.
  • Champion inclusive leadership development programs that ensure leaders are equipped with the tools and knowledge to create a more inclusive work environment.
  • Ensure CAVA's policies, practices, and programs are in compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws.
  • Update and communicate policies related to employee conduct, compensation, benefits, and safety.
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of policies and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Team Members and leadership on workplace issues, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Provide guidance on resolving workplace conflicts in a fair and effective manner.
  • Develop and implement employee recognition programs to celebrate achievements and milestones.
  • Lead the execution, and measurement of CAVA's DEI strategy.
  • Develop and implement strategies to encourage allyship and cross-functional collaboration among Team Members from different backgrounds.
  • Develop and implement training programs for all Team Members, including unconscious bias training, cultural competency, and inclusive leadership development.
  • Provide training and resources to Team Members on creating an inclusive and equitable work environment.
  • Partner with training and development to integrate DEI principles into ongoing professional development and leadership training initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external organizations, diversity networks, and community groups to enhance our DEI efforts.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on DEI data, including diversity metrics, retention, promotion rates, and employee satisfaction.
  • Provide regular reports on DEI progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop systems for gathering feedback from employees including regular surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one conversations.
  • Analyze feedback and work collaboratively with leadership to implement improvements based on Team Members needs and suggestions.
  • Address any Team Member related concerns or conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
