About The Position

We are looking for a passionate and proactive People & Culture Generalist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a positive workplace environment, supporting employee engagement, and driving initiatives that align with our company values and culture. You will play a key role in partnering with leadership on the interpretation of P&C policies, and creating, and implementing new programs and initiatives. This role is an onsite role 5 days a week located at ANGI's Janesville, WI location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field or relevant experience.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in HR, people operations, or culture roles; preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and talent management software is a plus (Dayforce and ADP preferred).
  • Passion for fostering inclusive and engaging workplace environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching and consultation to the leadership on various P&C policies and employee matters.
  • Manage and resolve both routine and complex employee relations issues.
  • Work closely with Enterprise COE's (Payroll, Shared Services, Talent Acquisition) to deliver high level quality and delivery of service.
  • Collect and analyze employee feedback through surveys and other tools to recommend improvements.
  • Serve as the face of People & Culture department as the first stop for employees.
  • Manage employee recognition programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain and update employee records, at a high level of detail and accuracy.
  • Provide comprehensive onboarding and training programs to ensure new hires are well-integrated and equipped for success.
  • Track, analyze, and complete data related to KPI's to measure effectiveness of P&C initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Partnering with Operations on workforce planning strategy.
  • Adhere to Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements of the business.
  • Other duties as assigned.
