Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a strong background in union environments.
  • Proven expertise in union agreements, negotiations, and labor relations.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and influence outcomes at all levels.
  • Operates with integrity and manages confidential information appropriately.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to US leaders, shaping high-performing teams and driving business outcomes.
  • Guide managers on performance, coaching, and career growth.
  • Lead innovative, inclusive recruitment and retention strategies for US operations.
  • Champion culture, wellness, and DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging) initiatives.
  • Advise on employee relations, conflict resolution, and positive workplace culture.
  • Provide expertise in union/labor relations, including collective agreements and negotiations.
  • Respond quickly to urgent People & Culture issues and support change management.
