Join our dynamic Business Performance team as a Organization and Workforce Senior Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in optimizing workforce, talent, and mobility strategies. You will be instrumental in future-proofing our operations through the design, development, and influence on operating models and continuous change. As a trusted advisor, you will develop and implement workforce strategies that align with business and functional strategy to meet business objectives. Your expertise will be crucial in understanding workforce requirements to design organizations at the operating model and organization design level to achieve strategic intent.

Requirements

  • Relevant professional service experience, with a global management consultancy firm, or niche consultancy in which you gained exposure to a large-scale project(s)
  • Minimum 10 years of prior experience in Operating Model Development, Organizational Structure and Design, Strategic Workforce Planning, Capability Mapping, Organizational Assessment, and Organizational Governance, with success in current job applying one or more of these capabilities
  • Experience of leading org. design engagements in one or more of the following functional domains – supply chain, IT, finance, customer, sales & marketing. Should have worked in large multi-disciplinary teams as part of functional and enterprise-wide transformation engagements
  • Proven track record in managing and analyzing large datasets and using analytics in project execution. Deep expertise in working with and engaging clients in discussions around the use of digital assets in the delivery of org. design projects
  • Bachelor's degree required in a related field of business, human resources, psychology
  • Willingness to travel as needed, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment with an average of three (3) days per week at a client site or within an EY office.
  • Deep understanding of using organizational design as an integral component of transformational initiatives focused on accelerating business performance. Understanding of the opportunities and risks associated with acquisitions, divestures, mergers and the organizational design implications

Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale organizational design projects and advise stakeholders while building relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Work collaboratively to deliver innovative and insightful solutions for a range of challenges, from how to best structure teams to deliver on the organization’s strategy to how the organization’s structure can allow for more agile ways of working.
  • Assume operational responsibility and accountability for engagements, generate ideas to expand current service offerings, and identify new business opportunities
  • Understand the breadth of our offerings across the firm, to bring the best of EY to our clients and be able to sell People Consulting alongside our other service line offerings
  • Lead the delivery of transformation projects, demonstrate technical competence in our capabilities and take a practical/business driven approach to solving complex client challenges
  • Develop, shape and deliver programs of work from planning through to implementation – managing project resources and budgets effectively, and managing and mitigating all risks and issues
  • Be able to influence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for any major change initiatives and/or decisions
  • Encourage and facilitate collaboration amongst team members, and promote an inclusive working environment
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities for junior resources and peers, and act as a visible role model for our people

  • The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $145,800 to $333,100.
  • The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $174,900 to $378,400.
  • Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
  • In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
  • You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
