About The Position

The People Business Partner, Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics (AM&D) is responsible for collaborating with senior management to develop and implement the People Strategy aligned with business objectives, focusing on business growth, capability development, leadership, and performance management. The role leverages diagnostic skills and business acumen to identify competency-related needs and articulate targeted value propositions to senior management. Also, partners closely with senior leaders and leadership teams to provide strategic people and workforce guidance that influences decisions, strengthens capability development, drives business performance, and supports succession planning to build and sustain a skilled workforce. As a key member of the Connected Care People Team and AM&D Leadership Team, the role serves as a trusted advisor and coach to the BU Leader and the extended leadership team. Your role: Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and implement a People Strategy that aligns with overall business priorities—supporting growth, organizational capability, leadership effectiveness, and strong performance management practices. Using diagnostic skills and business acumen, you will identify key workforce needs and opportunities, then translate these insights into targeted value propositions for individuals, teams, and the broader organization. By partnering closely with business and Functional leaders, you will provide strategic guidance and people-focused solutions that influence decision‑making, enhance business performance, and deliver measurable organizational value. Coordinate and lead capability development efforts to ensure the organization has the skills and competencies needed to achieve its objectives to include driving strategic workforce planning, talent development, hiring, and succession processes to maintain a healthy, future‑ready talent pipeline. You also lead the people components of transformation and change initiatives within Ambulatory and Diagnostic Monitoring (AM&D), enabling the business to navigate organizational shifts smoothly and with minimal disruption. By leveraging the People Function Operating Model, you deliver a comprehensive suite of people services in close partnership with People Leader Partners and Centers of Excellence (CoEs), ensuring seamless support, consistency, and timely resolution of business needs. Build strong, trusted relationships with leaders and stakeholders, serving as a strategic advisor grounded in a deep understanding of the business and its operating environment. Also, support the implementation of performance management practices that promote accountability and high performance, while providing guidance on goal setting, feedback, and development planning. With a strong focus on compliance, you will ensure policies and practices align with local legal and regulatory requirements and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks. Additionally, you will mentor and support People Function team members - fostering their development, strengthening collaboration, and encouraging knowledge sharing across the team.

Requirements

  • You've acquired 8+ years’ experience with Bachelor's OR 6+ years of experience with Master's in areas such as People Management, Change Management, Organizational Transformation, Business Partnering or equivalent.
  • Preferred experience working in large, Global, matrixed organizations.
  • Prior experience working in regulatory environments is strongly preferred.
  • Your skills include Continuous Improvement, Strategy Implementation, Capability Development, Change Management, Performance Management (PM), Business Acumen, Stakeholder Partnership, Strategy Development, People Management, Needs Assessment, and Regulatory Compliance - enabling you to drive operational excellence, build organizational capability, and deliver scalable, strategic solutions that support both business priorities and workforce success
  • You have a Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You're an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with employees, people leaders, and People Partners.
  • You’re detail‑oriented, with exceptional documentation and case management skills that support clear, consistent, and compliant HR practices.
