About The Position

The HR Services Specialist 3 serves as a resource within the college to perform HR activities and advises on policies, procedures, statutes, and laws to ensure all human resources transactions are processed in accordance with policy and law. The position is part-time, with a maximum pay depending on experience, and requires a Bachelor's degree along with five years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training. The role involves overseeing hiring processes, maintaining HR records, and collaborating with leadership on performance reviews and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Five years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field.
  • Knowledge of human resources best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, AirTable, Slack, and other collaboration tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Four years of experience with general people and operations expertise, preferably within a research, charter system, or academic organization.
  • Three years of experience in HR, operations, or administrative roles.
  • Experience with process improvement and implementing organizational systems.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of comprehensive hiring processes, including structured interview frameworks and management of job posting strategies.
  • Coordinate complex interview logistics for cross-functional teams and onboarding coordination.
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment analytics to improve hiring effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with leadership on performance review cycles and assist managers as needed.
  • Track progress on goals and development plans.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency through improved workflows and systems integration.
  • Implement and manage operational tools and resources.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and university policies.
  • Assist with HR reporting and documentation needs.
  • Support the Director in executing strategic initiatives and special projects as needed.

Benefits
