The P&C Operation Manager is responsible for the day-to-day P&C operational functions and their performance in accordance with PIE policies and procedures. S/he provides hands-on support, guidance, and advice to staff and managers in operationalizing P&C policies and procedures. S/he has a responsibility to follow-up issues around employee relations, grievance and disciplinary cases, workplace safeguarding, and employee safety. The incumbent will coordinate department audits and is responsible for providing effective and efficient P&C service to the programmes, optimizing the P&C functions. The job holder will be the focal person for programme Area P&C representatives and shall work in close collaboration with the Programme Area/Emergency Response Managers regarding performance management and training and development needs for the Area P&C representatives. S/he will also be expected to work in collaboration with colleagues within the department to operationalize the organization's P&C initiatives, policies, and practices, ensuring they run smoothly and contribute to a healthy work environment by ensuring the P&C policies, guidelines, and practices reach the ground and are understood and implemented by PIE Staff.
