Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, human resources, or a related field is preferred.
  • JD with a background in labor/employment or compensation/benefits with 4+ years of related experience.
  • Broad human resources legal and regulatory experience, including wage and hour, Title VII, FMLA, ADA, and labor and employment experience.
  • Tax technical experience across the total rewards landscape, including qualified retirement plans and equity programs.
  • Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with internal audit and/or within a risk management framework.
  • Project management experience, including planning, budget management, and reporting.
  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint, and/or Word.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in managing risks and controlling costs associated with HR processes, plans, programs, and systems.
  • Analyze clients' human resources and talent operations to assess risks and improve compliance and efficiency.
  • Deliver design, compliance, risk, tax, and accounting technical services across multiple projects.
  • Establish relationships with clients and internal stakeholders effectively.
  • Perform technical research for HR issues at both state and federal levels and translate findings into compliant process designs.
  • Collaborate with clients' internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure effective HR operations.
  • Track goals, action items, and budgets using project management tools and methodologies.
  • Implement techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiency, and mitigate risk.
