As we expand our footprint in Southern California, we're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to drive new business and build lasting client relationships in this high-growth market.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of strategic sales experience.
  • Experience in networking and managing a referral-based channel sales role.
  • Demonstrated business maturity and effective communication skills with business owners.
  • Strong business network with success in selling value-added services to senior level executives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding quota.

  • Ability to learn and understand new offerings, specifically Health Benefit Plans.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Ability to collaborate well with others at ExtensisHR such as Solutions Consultant, Proposal Manager, HR Manager and other subject matter experts.

Responsibilities

  • Sell and market Extensis’ services to small and mid-sized businesses through the Insurance Agent and Broker Channel targeting our 17-industry segment.
  • Maintain a high-level of networking and broker channel development.
  • Identify and qualify a strong pipeline of prospects, bringing them from prospect status to client status by effectively managing the sales process and client relationship.
  • Communicate and coordinate all necessary contract requirements to ensure a seamless execution of the contract once a client signs.
  • Brand and maximize Extensis’ reputation as the premiere broker channel-based sales organization in the PEO industry.
  • Source, qualify and build relationships with benefit brokers.
  • Educate, engage and generate sales opportunities from benefit brokers.
  • Develop and cultivate a strong business network with health insurance brokers, agencies, and centers of influence within assigned territory.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing departments to implement strategic sales and networking techniques.
  • Complete all submissions and proposals to a close with sales operations.
  • Manage the transition of clients to our client Activation team upon successful completion of sales.
