About The Position

We are seeking an experienced HR Consultant to join our growing Professional Employer Organization (PEO) division. The HR Consultant will play a key role in providing strategic HR support to our clients, helping them navigate the complexities of managing a global workforce. You will partner closely with senior leadership, client stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful HR operations, compliance, and workforce management across various regions. This role is crucial in shaping a positive client experience while ensuring that Deel’s PEO services are optimized for efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of HR experience, preferably within a PEO, global HR consulting, or similar environment. Strong understanding of global HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
  • Global Expertise: Experience working with international clients and a deep understanding of the challenges of managing a distributed workforce.
  • Leadership: Proven track record in partnering with senior leadership and driving HR initiatives that align with business objectives.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, particularly with complex employee relations and compliance issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex HR concepts to various stakeholders.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with HRIS systems, HR data analytics, and payroll platforms. Experience with Deel’s platform is a plus.

  • Experience with PrismHR or similar PEO-specific platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients regarding HR and employment matters within the PEO framework. Provide strategic guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and compliance.
  • HR Strategy Development: Partner with clients to align their business objectives with people strategies. Develop and implement HR initiatives that drive employee engagement, retention, and productivity.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all HR policies, procedures, and programs are compliant with local labor laws and regulations in countries where clients operate. Assist clients in managing complex HR issues such as terminations, layoffs, and labor disputes.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle within the PEO service, including onboarding, performance reviews, compensation planning, and offboarding.
  • HR Data Analytics: Leverage HR data to provide insights to clients and internal teams, enabling better decision-making around talent management, employee engagement, and workforce optimization.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Operations, to ensure a seamless PEO experience for clients. Provide support during client onboarding and transitions.
  • Talent Development: Support clients in designing and implementing talent development programs, including leadership development, career pathing, and employee growth initiatives.
  • Change Management: Act as a trusted advisor during times of organizational change, helping clients manage restructures, mergers, or other significant shifts.
