About The Position

Aon is seeking a dynamic and analytical Pension Administration, Business Development Manager to join our team. This virtual role is pivotal in driving the growth and success of our business by evaluating and improving sales strategies, identifying new customer opportunities, and crafting compelling proposals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in consulting, finance, sales support or a related field, with a proven track record of success in business development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in consulting, finance, sales support or another relevant field.
  • Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in writing proposals, creating compelling presentations, and developing business strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with CRM software and data analysis tools.
  • Experience in the defined benefit administration and consulting industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate current sales strategies and identify areas for improvement to enhance business growth.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential new customers and business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and potential clients.
  • Write and develop proposals that effectively communicate Aon's value proposition to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of business development strategies.
  • Analyze data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor industry developments and competitor activities/solutions to inform business strategies and Aon’s value proposition.
  • Develop understanding of Aon’s current/historical relationship with prospects across all business segments.
