About The Position

The Pellet Mill Technician is responsible for analyzing and determining proper set points and adjustments for equipment, performing startup and shutdown processes, and completing detailed shift reports. This role requires effective daily communication with maintenance, performing and documenting equipment inspections, and analyzing equipment performance to make necessary tooling changes. The technician must ensure all work is performed in a timely and safe manner, maintain equipment, tools, and workstations, and utilize skills to improve equipment optimization and reliability. Additional duties include maintaining logs, recording labor, materials, and equipment used, communicating equipment deficiencies to team members and management, and participating in breakdown analysis, root cause analysis, focused improvement, and 5S projects. Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to local, state, and federal codes and regulations are essential.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Education.
  • One Year of In Plant Manufacturing Experience.
  • Ability to Work Independently and Utilize Critical Problem Solving and Decision-Making Skills to Generate and Implement Solutions throughout the Process.
  • Must Maintain Compliance within all LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, Working at Heights Policies.
  • OSHA 10 Training and Experience.
  • Ability to Work Extended Hours to Includes Nights, Weekends, and Holidays.
  • Ability to Continuously Walk or Stand, Bend, Squat, Climb Stairs and Lift Items Above Shoulders.
  • Ability to Work Outdoors, Rotating Shifts, and Lift 50 Pounds Required.
