About The Position

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as a cashier and operating a POS system.
• Understanding of the English language.
• Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to customers, employees, and management.
• Basic math skills and computer proficiency.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers entering the restaurant.
• Process phone orders in a timely manner.
• Take and process customer orders into the POS system.
• Process and total orders on the POS system and apply customer payments into the register.
• Process credit card transactions, take cash, and make correct change for customer payments.
• Package take-home orders for customers.
• Tabulate data regarding bills and total amounts in the POS system.
• Maintain and clean the front of house area, including drink and condiment stations.
• Follow dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
