The Pega UI/UX Lead Developer (Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst - C13) is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to complex design projects and has expert Pega7/Pega8/Pega24 knowledge based on in-depth experience and history of successful projects on Customer Service Applications Experience on using Pega GenAI tools for seamless Development. Design and develop end-to-end Pega applications leveraging Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC), Cosmos, and Constellation design systems to deliver intuitive, efficient, and scalable user experiences. Collaborate with business architects, User Experience (UX) designers, and developers to translate requirements into user-centric designs, workflows, and technical components. Build and configure case types, data models, process flows, decision rules, and UI components ensuring alignment with business objectives and guardrail compliance. Design responsive and accessible user interfaces using sections, harnesses, layouts, and dynamic containers consistent with enterprise UI/UX standards. Implement integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, and other connectors to enable seamless data exchange and process automation. Apply human-centered design principles through wireframes, prototypes, and usability testing to optimize user journeys and adoption. Ensure performance, maintainability, and reusability through modular rule design, version control, and adherence to Pega best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve User Interface (UI), workflow, and integration issues, ensuring high-quality deliverables across browsers and devices. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, estimation, and reviews while ensuring timely delivery. Mentor and collaborate across teams, supporting User Experience (UX) governance, design reviews, and continuous improvement of design and development standards. Manage technical implementation tasks to ensure work is delivered on-time and on-budget. Use Pega7/Pega8/Pega24 architecture, security model, and service interfaces to build effective software solution. Ability to translate complex business requirement into functional technical requirement using requirement gathering sessions and available industry standard tools. Ensures that systems are built for change, are reusable, and are maintainable. Development support and design consultation for development activities. Effectively troubleshoot technical issues as they arise during the project life cycle. Performance monitoring, tuning and optimization. Interaction with the Production Support and Development Teams (Citi and Vendor) to deliver end-user support, defect resolution, etc. To include emergency off-hours support. Interaction with partner development, testing, and support teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
