About The Position

The Pega Business Architect serves as a liaison between the business function and the technical development team to ensure that the Pega solution meets the needs of the organization and its customers. Key responsibilities include architecting Pega solutions, designing business processes and workflows within the Pega platform, and ensuring alignment with Pega best practices. The LBA also guides development teams, facilitates stakeholder communication, performs quality assurance, and ensures the successful, scalable delivery of Pega-based solutions. A Pega Business Architect's specific job duties may vary based on several factors, including the type of industry, the size of the project team, and any specific responsibilities required by their employer organization.

Requirements

  • Pega LBA Certified
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in Business Analysis
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in Pega LBA
  • Extensive experience in Pega 8x
  • Strong communication and written skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking

Nice To Haves

  • 7 to 10+ years of software development experience in multiple software languages and engineering practices
  • B.S or M.S in computer science, computer engineering or related field
  • Deep knowledge of Pega and proven ability to execute Pega projects the 'pega way'
  • Strong working knowledge of best practices in service design and integration patterns
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices
  • Excellent verbal, written and graphical communication skills with ability to influence team members
  • Enthusiasm and a desire to be part of an innovative and highly valued team
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, and comfort with uncertainty and ambiguity
  • A commitment to quality with a drive for continuous improvement
  • An untiring passion for UI/UX design
  • Pega certifications such as PCSA, PCSSA, CLSA, PCBA, PCMC, PCDC, PCDS
  • 2+ years experience in working with agile teams utilizing DevOps
