About The Position

Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Pega Developer. The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing support and expertise necessary toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables, and provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting status/progress.

Requirements

REQUIRES TOP SECRET CLEARANCE
100% ONSITE (5 DAYS A WEEK) - WASHINGTON, DC AREA
Bachelor’s Degree.
Minimum 1 year experience (including Internships).
Possess one of the following certifications: CSA (Certified System Architect), CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect).
Pega Infinity experience.
Pega Architecture experience (Beginner).
Pega Software Application Development (Intermediate).
Previous Consulting or client service delivery experience.
Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Desire to work in an information systems environment.
Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work independently, with little to no oversight.
Must be able to develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Nice To Haves

Specialization in functional area (CRM, deployment, etc.) or industry domain expertise.

Responsibilities

Work with senior members of the team and users to analyze business requirements, translating those requirements into customized solutions using the Pega Infinity platform.
Implement Pega solutions that adhere to platform best practices.
Assist the Lead Pega Developer with development work streams, from design through testing and deployment.
Will be responsible for coding and unit testing using Pega OOTB features based on the design provided by the Lead Pega Developer.
Maintain effective client relations and rapport - delivering timely and relevant information with the ability to quickly identify and report project risks.
Post-delivery - assists client teams in supporting the live application and perform handoff and knowledge transfer activities, positioning our clients for long term success.
