Northwestern Counseling & Support Services is seeking an individual who self-identifies as being in recovery from a mental illness diagnosis to provide peer support and/or peer services individuals diagnosed with mental illness. Applicants must be organized, energetic & have computer skills. Responsible for delivering services in a variety of community-based settings related to activities of daily living, social and interpersonal skills development, help individuals identify and achieve their recovery goals and meet their specific goals as part of the treatment team. This position also provides observation and gives feedback to the division leadership on possible improvements. Applicants must have reliable transportation with the ability to transport clients. Good attitude, team-oriented and open to learning, are key skills!
