About The Position

SUMMARY: The Peer Recovery Specialist is to provide non-clinical training, support and education to patients and family members that serve as an adjunct to direct clinical services and enhance patient’s personal pathway to recovery.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required. Degree preferred.
  • Lived personal experience and one year in recovery from a substance use disorder, serious mental illness or both.
  • Credentialed as a Certified Health Worker, Certified Recovery Specialist or Certified Addiction Peer Recovery Coach.
