Baltimore Crisis Response, Inc. (BCRI) is a nationally recognized nonprofit and Baltimore’s only comprehensive crisis response system. Since 1992, BCRI has provided timely, community-based care for individuals and families experiencing mental health and substance use challenges. Our mission is to deliver effective behavioral health crisis services and treatment in the least restrictive environment — meeting people where they are, when they need it most. We’re seeking a dedicated professional to work alongside EMS in responding to substance use crises and overdoses throughout Baltimore City. In this role, you will provide brief crisis intervention, connect individuals to treatment and support services, and help them create plans that promote recovery. You will collaborate closely with EMS, BCRI staff, and community partners, ensuring individuals receive timely referrals, resources, and follow-up support. This position plays an important role in empowering people to take steps toward stability and long-term wellness.
