About The Position
ReDiscover is seeking a Peer Specialist to add to our Peer Services Program! ReDiscover has been known for over 50 years as a non-profit community mental health center in southeastern Jackson County, Missouri with a mission of delivering efficient and cost-effective treatment for the people we serve. Our diverse team of over 700 employees is 'Passionate About People' as we support our community, specifically those whose lives have been affected by a mental illness or substance use. With over 29 programs across 20 different locations in Lee’s Summit, Raytown, and Kansas City, ReDiscover offers a wide variety of career opportunities for individuals like you looking to make a difference throughout the area! The Peer Services program is an expansion program dedicated to outreaching and connecting clients to services for mental illness and/or substance use disorders. Our Peer Services provide support to clients using personal experiences to build rapport and engage in services that are offered.
