Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Experience working with substance‑use populations
Ability to obtain a Peer Specialist certification within 90 days
Must be a current or former client (or family member of a client) of mental health services
Organizational skills and creative problem‑solving
Crisis-intervention knowledge
Ability to observe, document, and report client progress
Strong verbal and written communication
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to perform light physical work
Basic computer skills
