Division Overview: The Adult Criminal Justice and Treatment Services (ACJS) supports clients who may have struggles related to a substance use disorder. We provide opportunities for clients to rebuild their lives so they can become healthy and self-sufficient. ACJS work includes screening and assessments for substance use disorders, placing clients into treatment programs, monitoring and reporting on progress, and providing support including, but not limited to, insurance enrollment, obtaining a state ID, and finding employment resources. We are currently looking for Full-Time Peer Support Advocate Starting at $39,000 - $40,000; contingent upon experience, education, etc. Position summary: The Collaborative Bridges team is an innovative care coordination pilot program to connect individuals and families with substance abuse and mental health needs upon their discharge from hospitals and provide support care coordination services until linked to long term community providers or consumer needs are resolved. This position supports others in their recovery journey and serves as a role model, mentor, advocate and motivate individuals in order to help prevent relapse and promote long-term recovery. It is important that the Recovery Support Advocate has the ability to share personal recovery experiences and to develop authentic peer-to-peer relationships.
