About The Position
Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking a compassionate, recovery-oriented Peer Specialist to join our Community Connections (CC) program—a peer-run, client-centered initiative grounded in SAMHSA's 8 Dimensions of Wellness. The CC Peer Specialist will provide individual and group support to clients, helping them develop essential life skills, achieve personal goals, and foster resilience in their recovery journey. Ideal candidates bring lived experience, either personally or through a family member, along with strong communication skills and a commitment to empowering others.
