Join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program at Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) as a full-time Peer Support Specialist and make a difference in the lives of adults diagnosed with serious mental illness. ACT is a team-based treatment approach aimed at helping individuals live successfully in their community and supporting their recovery. Our interdisciplinary team provides a wide range of services, from peer support to medication management, directly within the client's environment. As the ACT Peer Support Specialist, you will provide community and onsite individual and group support to clients, helping them develop essential life skills, achieve personal goals, and foster resilience in their recovery journey. Paid bi-weekly. $20.04 to $30.05 per hour Schedule: This position is fully on-site, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Bilingual Language Differential Pay. Employees who successfully pass a language assessment are eligible to receive bilingual differential pay. This differential is provided as a fixed amount of $3,000 or $6,000 per calendar year, paid on a bi‑weekly basis across 26 pay periods, and prorated based on hire date and full‑time equivalency (FTE). Eligibility and payment are subject to the language requirements of the position and the employee’s demonstrated proficiency in the language.
